Dear MoodleMoot Mishima Participants,
I am sorry for taking so long to get in touch with you all and thank you for your participation in the Moot. Very coincidentally, I hope, our site was breached the day of the Moot. Luckily it was an issue with the hosting provider and the automated installer Fantastico rather than a malicious attack. It took a little time to get the issue resolved but in the end we were able to reinstall the Moodle code on top of the existing database and Moodle data directory so nothing was lost.
It was a pleasure to see all of you at the Moot and very stimulating to hear the various Moodle presentations given that day.
As we mentioned prior to the Moot, the entire event was professionally video recorded by Marcus Grandon of
Grand Marquee Productions and we now have the edited and compressed videos available. I will be contacting each of the presenters to obtain their permission to place the videos here on the web site as well as to arrange for the delivery of the videos to each presenter. If you are anxious to see some of the presentations, please wait another few days and we will have compressed versions available here on the site.
Once again, thank you all for your participation and we look forward to seeing you all, and many more, at the 2nd annual MoodleMoot Mishima to be held sometime next year. We'll be asking for your input about dates in the next couple of months so please be thinking about when you'd like to see our Moot scheduled next year.
